Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living refers to when you live on your own or in shared housing with our help. If you want to move in your own place we know transition to Independent living is a big step and we are here to make this eaiser for you and help you at each and every step. Supported Independent Living can be provided in SA Shining Stars housing or in private rentals, we provide you full freedom to choose ideal house for you while also knowing that we will be there for you to provide you support .
Short Term Accommodation
Short Term Accommodation is 24/7 care services allows the opportunity for the participant to be supported by someone else whilst providing their carer with short term breaks from their usual caring responsibilities. For emergency and short term accommodation, we have the team and partnerships in place to ensure we can help you achieve your goals and dreams.
Day Care Services
Take a break to rest and recharge while our Care Pros take on the caregiving duties. Respite breaks are a vital part of caring and can be booked for a single day or a few weeks as required.
Transportation Support
We understand how importance for you to have your own transportation is for your positive outlook and overall wellbeing. At SA Shining Stars we provide transport and travel services all over the Adelaide. All caring and qualified care workers will pick you and drive you where ever you want to go. We are flexible with the arrrangements. These services can be one-off 0r can be regular ongoing service, you can choose service as per your needs.
Social And Community Services
We provide wide range of social and community participation and day options including
- Visiting your friends
- Going to places for fun such as Shopping
- Music & rts programs
- Relaxing like Yoga and Meditation
- Learning new skills like Art classes, Dance or Quilting
Assistance with daily living
At SA Shining Stars we recognize the value of independent living for each individual. Our assisted daily living service enables you to obtain support for your personal activities and day-to-day tasks.
After understanding your in-home support needs, our experts work with you to provide you with the most optimum levels of daily activity support. All our services will be personalised as per your NDIS and personal goals. Our open-door policy ensures that should there be a need, you can get in touch with our management for any feedback related to your support.
